Organized crime in Ukraine
Organized crime is group criminal activity characterized by a hierarchical structure and aimed at obtaining profit or controlling territories and markets. Such groups often use violence, intimidation, and corruption to achieve their goals. In Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions, law enforcement regularly detects and stops the activities of organized criminal groups engaged in drug trafficking, fraud, illegal logging, and other crimes.
