Events from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine
The Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) is the most numerous Orthodox church in Ukraine, recognized by the Constantinople Orthodox Church as the canonical successor to the Kyivan Metropolitanate. The OCU is one of the autocephalous Orthodox churches and is guided by Holy Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the canons of the Orthodox Church. The Church actively operates in Ukrainian cities, including Odesa, where it conducts divine services, celebrates religious holidays, and carries out social work, including ministry in military hospitals.
