Events from "Money for the Armed Forces"
"Money for the Armed Forces" is a civic initiative and series of protest actions in Ukraine aimed at redirecting funds from local budgets to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of spending on local infrastructure and improvement. The movement began in Odesa in August 2023 and subsequently spread to most Ukrainian cities. Participants of the actions call on local authorities to prioritize military assistance. The tag covers news about the initiative itself, its organization, criticism, as well as abuse and fraud related to fundraising for the Armed Forces.
