A maritime academy is a higher educational institution that trains specialists for work in the maritime industry and naval forces. Several such institutions operate on the territory of Ukraine, in particular in Odesa and Kherson, which carry out training of cadets in maritime specialties. These academies are important centers of naval education and science, especially in the context of the development of the Naval Forces of Ukraine.
