Kherson CHP (Combined Heat and Power Plant)

Kherson CHP is a combined heat and power plant that supplies heat and electricity to almost half of the residential buildings in the city of Kherson through a centralized heating system. The station operates in parallel with Ukraine's Unified Energy System and is critical infrastructure for the region's utilities. The facility has repeatedly come under fire during Russian aggression, threatening the city's energy security and the well-being of its residents.
