Resort season on Ukrainian beaches
The resort season is a period of the year when beaches and tourist zones open for recreation and swimming. At Ukrainian resorts, especially on the coast of Mykolaiv region and the Sea of Azov, this season traditionally falls on the summer months. The condition of beaches, their safety for swimming, and the ecological situation in the region are key factors for the tourist season. Due to the war and environmental problems, many beaches remain closed to visitors.
