A spotter — in a military context, this is a serviceman who directs fire from artillery systems, tanks, or other weapons at a target. However, in a civilian context, especially during an armed conflict, the term also refers to a person who provides information to the enemy about the location of military positions, facilities, or servicemen for carrying out strikes. Such actions are considered treason and collaboration with the enemy.
