Fakes and Disinformation in Ukraine
Fakes are deliberately created disinformation, fabricated or distorted news spread without adherence to journalistic fact-checking standards. This page contains materials on detecting and debunking fakes that are often used in information warfare, propaganda, and manipulation of public opinion. Special attention is paid to fakes spread by Russian propaganda channels aimed at disorienting Ukrainians about events in the country and on occupied territories.
