Euromaidan and the Revolution of Dignity
Euromaidan is a national-patriotic protest movement in Ukraine that began in November 2013 as a reaction to the authorities' refusal to sign an Association Agreement with the European Union and as a protest against corruption and abuse of power by law enforcement. The protests escalated into the Revolution of Dignity following the violent dispersal of demonstrations in Kyiv. This tag brings together materials about Euromaidan events, its participants, consequences, and memories of this period in Ukrainian history.
