Embroidery and embroidered shirts in Ukrainian culture
Vyshyvanka is a traditional Ukrainian shirt decorated with ornamental embroidery, which is an important component of national dress. This tag brings together materials about embroidered shirts as a cultural symbol of Ukraine, their preservation and development, especially in the context of regional traditions of Kherson, Mykolaiv, and other regions. Vyshyvanka is considered a means of preserving cultural memory, especially during military conflicts, as well as a platform for creative projects by designers and artists.
