Drought is a natural phenomenon characterized by prolonged lack of precipitation, elevated temperatures, and reduced air humidity, as a result of which soil moisture reserves are depleted. Drought negatively affects agriculture, water supply, and ecosystems, especially in regions dependent on irrigation. On the territory of Ukraine, particularly in the Kherson region, drought poses a serious problem for the restoration of agricultural production and irrigation systems.
