Decentralization of power in Ukraine
Decentralization is the process of transferring power, authority, and resources from central government bodies to local self-government bodies and communities. In Ukraine, this includes developing the capacity of territorial communities, their financial independence, international partnerships of regions, and citizen participation in local governance. Decentralization aims to strengthen local self-government, especially in war-affected regions, and improve the efficiency of service delivery at the local level.
