Counterfeit goods and illegal production
Counterfeit goods are illegally manufactured or imported products that infringe intellectual property rights, including counterfeit branded products, illegal alcohol, and other excisable goods. In Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, law enforcement regularly uncovers clandestine workshops producing counterfeit products that cause losses to the state budget and legitimate manufacturers. Combating counterfeiting is an important part of law enforcement work in protecting intellectual property rights and economic security of Ukraine.
