Blue economy and maritime development

Blue economy is a concept of sustainable development aimed at the rational use of marine and water resources for economic growth. In Mykolaiv region, this direction is developing through projects in maritime tourism, logistics, innovation, and restoration of the city as a maritime hub. Blue economy combines the preservation of the marine environment with the development of port infrastructure, shipping, and related industries. This approach is part of the strategy for post-war reconstruction of southern Ukrainian regions and their integration into European economic networks.
