The Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine (BES) is a central law enforcement agency responsible for combating economic crimes and corruption that threaten the functioning of the state's economy. The BES investigates embezzlement of public funds, illegal enrichment of officials, procurement schemes, and other violations in the field of economic security. The agency conducts operational investigative activities, carries out searches, and submits materials to court to bring the guilty to justice.
