Improvement of cities and communities
Improvement is a complex of works on arrangement and landscaping of urban territories, including road and street repairs, bicycle path construction, installation of urban equipment, landscaping and design elements. These works are performed by local government bodies and municipal enterprises on behalf of communities. On Ukrainian public transparency platforms, improvement is often considered an important indicator of the effectiveness of local budget spending and the quality of municipal resource management in regions.
