Aurora borealis over Ukraine
Aurora borealis is a natural light phenomenon in Earth's atmosphere that occurs as a result of the interaction between solar wind and the planet's magnetic field. This phenomenon is most often observed at high latitudes, but during powerful geomagnetic storms it can be visible in more southern territories, including Ukraine. In the Odesa region, aurora borealis is rarely observed, but during periods of active solar activity it can be seen in the night sky as light curtains of various colors.
