African Swine Fever in Ukraine

African swine fever is a highly contagious viral disease of domestic and wild pigs that poses a serious threat to livestock farming. The disease is characterized by fever, hemorrhages, and often leads to mass mortality of animals. On the territory of Ukraine, particularly in Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions, outbreaks of this disease are periodically registered, which requires the implementation of quarantine measures and culling of infected animals.
