- In the match of the 1/32 finals of the Ukrainian Cup , Chornomorets was unlucky with the draw - at such an early stage, they had to fight against a Premier League team, namely Zorya Luhansk. Nevertheless, the Odesa team convincingly defeated the Luhansk team at home and moved on. The sailors won thanks to goals by Maksym Lopyryonko and Oleksiy Khoblenko. Another Odesa-based club, Real Pharma, finished the competition at this stage.

- And on Monday, Odesa announced the signing of a renowned newcomer - Yevhen Khacheridi, a former defender of Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team, signed a contract with the club, where he will join his long-term teammate, Yaroslav Rakitsky.
- 38-year-old Yevhen Khacheridi played 51 matches for the Ukrainian national team in his career, 23 matches in the Champions League and 35 in the Europa League. However, for the last 5 years he has played exclusively for amateurs, his last professional club was the Belarusian Dynamo Brest in 2020.

- Valeriia Peremeta from Mykolaiv, a member of the Ukrainian national team, became the world champion in rhythmic gymnastics in the three-ball and two-hoop routines. Peremeta, along with Yelyzaveta Azza, Diana Bayeva, Kira Shyrykina, and Oleksandra Yushchak, scored 28.650 points in the final, which allowed them to beat the Brazilians and Chinese in the fight for first place. The Ukrainians also took third in the team all-around, and Taisiia Onofriichuk won bronze in the individual ribbon competition.

- Ukraine won the medal standings at the World Rowing Championships. The triumph was secured by canoeists Lyudmyla Luzan and Iryna Fedoriv. Luzan became a four-time champion, winning in the 200 and 500 meter singles, as well as in the double sculls with Iryna at the same distances.
