The fourth-round match was the most difficult - Paolina, who had previously knocked out Starodubtseva, was one step away from victory, but Elina managed to play a few match points, put the second game into a tiebreaker, which she won, and in the third round she left the Italian no chance. The quarterfinals are a repeat of the Odesa player's best result at this tournament, and her next opponent is Polish player Iga Swietek.

On the second week of the European Diving Championships, the Ukrainian national anthem was played twice in honor of the winners. Oleksii Sereda and Mark Hrytsenko won the pairs' 10-meter platform diving event, and Kirill Bolyukh and Ksenia Bailo won the mixed pair event on the 10-meter platform.

In total, Ukraine won 5 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals at this championship, which is not only the best result among all teams, but also the highest result in history.

Dynamo Odesa announced that it will cease operations as of June 1.
