On December 4, the United Nations Security Council met to draw special attention to gross violations and war crimes against children committed by the Russian Federation during its war against Ukraine.
This was announced by the Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
According to him, one of the key issues of the meeting is the report of the Yale University Humanitarian Research Laboratory "Russian systematic program of forced adoption and guardianship of Ukrainian children" published on December 3.
"We will demonstrate the scale of crimes committed by Russia against Ukrainian children, including murder, mutilation, illegal deportation, forced displacement, re-education and militarization of Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories," the official said.
