The Executive Board of the United Nations World Food Program has approved an interim strategic plan for Ukraine for 2025-2027 with a total budget of USD 2.1 billion.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
In particular, he emphasized that the plan provides for humanitarian assistance, support for civilians, continuation of the demining process and support for Ukraine's export potential in supplying agricultural products to international markets.
The Prime Minister also thanked the partners for their consistent support of Ukraine and Ukrainians during the full-scale war with Russia.
It is worth recalling that during the meeting on November 15, the Government updated the reservation criteria and criteria for obtaining criticality. The Prime Minister reminded that by November 15, an audit of enterprises and organizations that have the status of critical and have the right to book employees had been conducted. The audit revealed a number of problematic issues that need to be addressed.
"First of all, the regional and sectoral criteria for criticality of enterprises will now be coordinated with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economy. Secondly, for the private sector, the salary criterion and the absence of debts to the budget are now mandatory points for booking their employees," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
In particular, the average salary of the company and the booked employee must be at least 2.5 minimum wages. The Prime Minister emphasized that this will reduce the risk of abuse when companies hire a person for the sake of a "shadow" booking agreement.
Earlier, Intent wrote that Ukraine is launching a reform of medical and social expertise(MSEC) aimed at eliminating the old bureaucratic system and introducing a new, more effective mechanism focused on human needs.
According to him, the first step in this process has already been taken - a draft law establishing an algorithm for assessing a person's daily functioning has been sent to the Rada.
According to the new system, doctors working in multidisciplinary hospitals as part of expert teams will objectively assess the patient's condition in one of three categories: permanent total disability, permanent partial disability, or able-bodied person. The assessment will be available in three formats: remotely, in absentia, or by on-site examination.
"There will be options for remote, part-time and on-site assessment. The system will be digitized and focused on the result - maximum rehabilitation of a person, return to active life and adaptation of the workplace to their needs," the Prime Minister said.
