The number of people injured in this morning’s attack in Odesa has risen from three to four, including a five-year-old child.
Initially, Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, reported that three men—aged 58, 62, and 66—had been injured; shortly thereafter, the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region reported four casualties.
Additionally, according to the State Emergency Service, six buses caught fire at the site of the strike. Another 11 buses and six passenger cars were damaged by the blast wave and debris. A local sanatorium building also sustained damage.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on July 12 and throughout the night of July 13, the enemy attacked Ukraine with three X-59/69 and 134 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Shahed, Gerber, and Italmas types, as well as “Parody”-type decoy drones. According to preliminary data, as of 9:30 a.m., air defense forces neutralized three X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missiles and 123 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas, and other types in the north, south, and east of the country.
Six strike UAVs were recorded striking five locations, and debris from downed UAVs was found at four locations.
Since the evening of July 12, Odesa and the Odesa region have been under air attack by Russian forces using drones and missiles. Also on the evening of July 12, a drone struck the roof of a high-rise building in the Raiduzhny residential neighborhood, causing a fire. Another drone damaged the roof of a home improvement store. Fires broke out but have since been extinguished. Information regarding casualties is being verified. A 51-year-old man was injured in the enemy attack. He was hospitalized.
The night before, Russian occupiersalso terrorizedthe Odesa region with airstrikes throughout the night. As a result of the drone attack, residential buildings, cars, and an infrastructure facility were damaged. In the Odesa district, buildings and equipment on the grounds of an infrastructure facility were damaged. The residential sector was also affected—two private homes and three passenger cars sustained damage.
