The Odesa region is once again under attack from Russian drones, as a critical infrastructure facility was attacked last night. Power engineers are already working on site and preparing to restore power supply as soon as possible.

This was reported by the DTEK press service.

On the night of April 9, Russian troops once again attacked Odesa region with attack drones. The shelling caused damage to critical infrastructure facilities.

According to DTEK, one of its energy facilities was seriously damaged the night before, on April 8.

Emergency crews are currently working at the site. Experts are inspecting the equipment and assessing the extent of the damage. As soon as the security situation allows, the power engineers will immediately start restoration work.

The company emphasized that they are doing everything possible to restore power to the homes of the region's residents as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Odesa region remains under constant threat of new attacks.

On the night of April 8, the southern part of Odesa region was hit again - Russian drones hit civilian and port infrastructure, causing the destruction of warehouses and outbuildings.

On the night of April 6, Russian troops struck a powerful blow in Odesa, killing three people, including a child. Residential buildings, critical infrastructure and administrative buildings came under fire.

Residential buildings, critical infrastructure and administrative facilities were hit. Numerous strikes caused fires to break out in the private sector, a dormitory, and a children's institution, and also set fire to vehicles.

Almost 20,000 families were left without electricity as a result of the nighttime Russian attack on Odesa. DTEK said that the consequences of the shelling are very complicated, and repair work will take time to restore the equipment's performance. They added that the crews started emergency repair work after receiving permission from rescuers and the military, and are currently inspecting the equipment, clearing the rubble, and will start repairs later.
