On the afternoon of July 25, Russian troops used guided aerial bombs (GABs) for the first time against Chornomorsk in the Odesa region.
This information came from a statementby the Ukrainian Air Force.
Initially, the military reported enemy tactical aviation activity in the southern sector and warned of the threat of airstrikes on areas near the front lines.
Later, at 1:39 p.m., reports emerged that aerial bombs had been dropped.
"Air-dropped bombs were launched toward Chornomorsk," the military reported.

As of today, it is known that the aerial bombs have not yet reached the city.
On October 24, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the Odesa region using three long-range guided bombs, according to the Southern Air Command.
The bombs were dropped from a Su-34 aircraft toward Pivdenne, which is located closer. Air defense forces shot down two of the bombs at the time; another fell in an open area without causing any damage.
Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, stated that this was the first time the region had been attacked with guided bombs.
