The enemy damaged an educational institution in Odesa

Odessa was under attack by Russian forces for most of the night and into the morning. The shelling damaged infrastructure, an educational institution, and a high-rise building.
This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration.
No reports of casualties have been received. Details regarding the consequences of the attacks are still being clarified.
It has been reported that the enemy damaged a 16-story residential building, two educational institutions, and a private home. Infrastructure facilities, a grain elevator complex, garages, and residents’ vehicles were also damaged. There is no information on casualties.
Earlier in the Odesa region, a Russian attack drone struck the locomotive of passenger train No. 147 traveling from Zhytomyr to Odesa. Before the attack, the Ukrzaliznytsia monitoring team issued an evacuation order in advance, and the train was immediately stopped on the tracks. Thanks to prompt action, passengers, the train crew, and the locomotive crew were evacuated before the strike. At the time of the attack, there were 593 passengers on the train, including 15 children.
On August 22, the enemy launched a combined, massive strike on the Odesa region. Three people are known to have been injured, including a child. The enemy damaged a private residence and a summer cottage. An agro-industrial enterprise was hit, and three grain silos were damaged.
On the night of August 22, the“Chornomorets” training base in Sovinion, a suburb of Odesa, was attacked once again. There were no casualties, but the building sustained significant damage. None of the people inside the building were injured. Experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage and calculating the losses incurred.
