Shelling of Kherson: 4 dead, a child among the wounded

Over the past day, Kherson region was under massive attacks by Russian troops.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, dozens of settlements, including Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Chornobaivka, Antonivka and others, came under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery fire.

According to him, the occupants hit critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. The attacks damaged 17 high-rise buildings and 28 private houses. A pharmacy, outbuildings, a warehouse, a cell tower, a garage, cars and an ambulance were also destroyed.

As a result of Russian aggression , 4 people died and 21 others were injured, including one child. One person was evacuated from the frontline communities.

Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson MVA, reported that a part of Kherson was mined. In particular, anti-personnel mines of the "Gingerbread man" type were found on Korabelna Square. Residents are urged to limit their movements in the area, as the mining zone may be wider.

Also, trolleybuses are temporarily out of service in the city due to damage to the overhead power lines. The resumption of traffic will depend on the security situation.

Separately, it was reported that an 84-year-old man who was injured in the shelling on April 3 died in hospital.

At the same time, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, said that Russian troops attacked the Ochakivska and Kutsurubska communities in Mykolaiv region with FPV drones. In the village of Dmytrivka, a private house was damaged, no one was injured.

As previously reported by Intent, Russian troops massively attacked Kherson and Mykolaiv regions with drones, artillery and aircraft. There are dead and wounded civilians, including a child, and damaged residential buildings and critical infrastructure.
