Russians resume air attacks in Odesa region

After several quiet nights in a row, Russians resumed attacks on the territory of Odesa region on February 3, targeting the southern districts of the region.

According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, the enemy attacked the region's civilian and energy infrastructure.

As a result of the attack, more than 50,000 residents were temporarily left without electricity. Three residential buildings were damaged, as well as warehouses, administrative buildings and cars.

The last time an air attack was reported was on January 29, when the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian bomber over the Black Sea during an attack on the Odesa region. The plane took off from the Maikop airfield and was destroyed near the southern coast of Odesa region, near Zmeinyi Island. The crew did not survive. At the same time, the enemy struck the city with attack drones, damaging an infrastructure facility.

In addition, the official said that the number of victims of the enemy attack on January 27 increased. A man born in 1947 died in the hospital. Doctors fought for his life to the last, but his injuries were too severe. Thus, Russian terror has claimed the lives of four people.

On the night of January 28, Russian troops attacked Odesa with attack drones. As a result of the attack, the territory of an Orthodox monastery and residential buildings were hit. Three people were injured in the attack.

On the night of January 27, Russians launched a massive attack on Odesa with attack drones. The attack damaged several residential buildings. A cultural and religious building was also damaged. The shelling killed three people and increased the number of wounded to 25.
