Russian lieutenant colonel and division commander killed in Crimea

In the annexed Crimea, the Ukrainian Defense Forces killed Lieutenant Colonel Hasan Tumgoev. He served as a division commander of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system, which was part of the occupation forces on the peninsula.

The modern S-400 Triumph and Pantsyr S-1 systems came under attack near the village of Sofiyivka (between Simferopol and Hvardiyske). The commander was killed during the second wave of drone strikes. It is known that prior to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Tumgoev took part in hostilities in Syria.
According to monitoring groups, he became one of at least 186 natives of Ingushetia who died during the four years of the great war. In total, according to official statements by representatives of the republic, about 2,000 Ingush are fighting against Ukraine as part of the occupation forces.
On the night of February 25, the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Middle Strike units conducted a successful operation in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The operators inflicted more than a billion dollars worth of damage on the enemy. As a result of the fire damage, the Middle Strike unit confirmed the complete destruction of the launcher of the S-400 Triumph air defense missile system, the 92N6E radar station and a number of auxiliary elements of the system.
In addition to the costly Triumph, Ukrainian operators eliminated the Pantsyr-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system. The latter served as a cover for important objects and air defense positions of the occupiers from attacks by drones and missiles at low and medium altitudes. The Armed Forces emphasize that they continue to carry out asymmetric actions behind enemy lines, systematically reducing the offensive potential of Russian troops.
