Reconnaissance men discover naval drone base in Crimea to protect fleet

Intelligence officers discovered a base and deployment sites of Russian unmanned boats in Sevastopol. These maritime drones are designed to patrol the waters and counter attacks by Ukrainian drones.
This was reported by Crimean Wind.
Agents identified a test base and the location of unmanned surface boats (USS) in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. According to intelligence, these units are being formed as part of the Russian Black Sea Fleet's basing points and are intended to patrol the coastal waters and counter attacks by Ukrainian unmanned boats.

The BEK test base is located on the northern side of Sevastopol, on the territory of the Mokrousov recreation center. During the tests, the Russian military engaged divers, and representatives of the boat developer and manufacturer were spotted at the facility.
According to OSINT, the base is equipped with moorings and security has been tightened: firing points have been installed around the perimeter, observation posts are on duty on the roofs of buildings and piers, and the area is patrolled and monitored by a video surveillance system.

The location is about 4 km from the entrance to Sevastopol Bay, where the remains of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are currently located. Until the booms are restored, the entrance to the bay is additionally guarded by various types of boats, including the artillery ship Shmel and the anti-sabotage ship Grachonok.

The intelligence officers emphasized that the BEK units are armed with modern unmanned boats of Russian design, and the reinforcement of the Sevastopol base with unmanned vessels indicates the intention of the Russian Federation to intensify control over the coastal waters of the Black Sea.
And in early January, the Crimean resistance movement noticed a new radar station of Russian troops. It was found in the Krasnogvardeisky district: the station is likely intended to control the airspace and strengthen surveillance of the region amid attacks on the aggressor's targets. The scouts conducted detailed reconnaissance, recorded the exact coordinates of the equipment and passed the data to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
