Nine people were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched massive strikes on Kherson and about three dozen other settlements in the region. The shelling has damaged critical infrastructure and residential buildings. 

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration. 

In particular, a high-rise building and 10 private homes were damaged. The Russians also destroyed a farm building and private vehicles. Nine people were injured.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, 10 people were evacuated yesterday from liberated communities in the region. 

As previously reported by Intent, on September 22 at around 8:00 a.m., a Russian drone attacked a 64-year-old man in the Korabelny district of Kherson. He sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his torso, arms, and legs. A 55-year-old resident of Bilozerka also sought medical attention at the hospital after being injured the previous day when a Russian drone struck his car. He was diagnosed with blast trauma and a concussion.

Around 12:40 p.m. in the Central District of Kherson, a Russian drone attacked a 45-year-old utility worker. He sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his ear and leg.

Another strike occurred around 1:10 p.m. in Urozhayne, in the Beryslav community. A 50-year-old village head was injured in the attack. He suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his chest, back, arms, and legs.
