The number of victims of missile and drone attacks on residential buildings in Odesa has increased to 36 people.
According to the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, one child was among the injured.
According to him, as of the morning of April 17, nine victims, including a child, remain in medical facilities. Doctors continue to fight for everyone's life and health.
As a result of the attacks that took place on the evening of April 15 and on the night of April 16, nine people died: one in the evening and eight at night. As a result of the shelling on April 16, 23 residents were reported to have sustained injuries of varying severity.
Civilian infrastructure suffered serious damage. A residential building was damaged in Khadzhybey district, and the blast wave smashed more than 300 windows in several buildings. Damage was also recorded in one of the parks of Primorsky district.
On the evening of April 15, the residential sector of the city came under enemy fire. A shell hit a nine-story building. As a result of the strike on a residential building in Odesa, apartments on the 5th-7th floor of the building were damaged and a fire broke out. Six people were injured, one person died. One of the victims also died.
As a result of an enemy attack on April 11, about 60 windows and roofs in nine residential buildings were damaged in the Peresypsky district. In particular, a one-story residential building was destroyed, the 10th floor of a 12-story building, the roof and top floor of a 5-story residential building were damaged, and the windows in a private household were smashed. In addition, at least 15 cars were damaged.
Two people were killed by a Russian drone in a residential area in Odesa on the night of April 11 when it hit a private one-story house and killed them. They were a 38-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man. A 69-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized.
