Man wounded in Russian strike dies in hospital

A 62-year-old man who was injured in an enemy shelling of Odesa region on March 4 died in hospital.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to him, the man worked at a railway station. Doctors assessed his condition as extremely serious. The doctors fought for his life, but unfortunately, on March 6, he died from his injuries.
In the afternoon of March 4, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the transport infrastructure in the south of Odesa region. As a result of the hit, the administrative building of the facility was heavily damaged. There were also civilian casualties.
There were four wounded:
- Two children (moderate condition);
- One adult (moderate severity);
- One victim who is currently in serious condition.
Medical services were working in an emergency mode, and all the victims were provided with emergency care in a hospital.
On the night of March 7, the Russian army also attacked Odesa from the air for the umpteenth time, hitting an infrastructure facility. The hit caused a fire. The State Emergency Service reported that it started in the port and was large-scale. It was also noted that 80 rescuers and 20 units of equipment were involved in its elimination.
In his turn, Infrastructure Minister Oleksiy Kuleba said that the night attack caused a fire in vegetable oil tanks and damaged a grain warehouse. There were no casualties. Port infrastructure was damaged in another port.
On the night of March 3, the enemy also attacked Odesa region with attack drones, hitting port and transportation infrastructure.
