In the evening, powerful explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The occupation authorities claimed an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the work of air defense.
This was reported by Krym.Realii with reference to the so-called "head" of the city Mikhail Razvozhayev, who said on his Telegram channel that the Russian military was allegedly repelling the attack, air defense forces and mobile fire groups were working. According to preliminary data from the occupiers, two air targets were shot down in the areas of General Ostryakov Avenue and Andriivka.
At the same time, local telegram channels report a much more active situation. In particular, the Krymskiy Viter channel, citing its subscribers, writes that an air raid alarm sounded just a few seconds before the first explosions.
Eyewitnesses reported two explosions in the area of Cape Fiolent, as well as an explosion in the area of General Ostryakov Avenue. In addition, according to them, they heard shooting at air targets in the areas of Sevastopol and Artillery bays.
Another local telegram channel "Emergency / Sevastopol" reported flying drones in different parts of the city.
There were also reports of a powerful explosion in the Saki district of Crimea.
There are no official comments from the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the events in Crimea.
Update 11:25: The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that the warship traffic control center and other targets were hit in Sevastopol.
According to the General Staff, on April 21 and on the night of April 22, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important targets of the Russian aggressor.
In particular, the traffic control center of the Black Sea Fleet warships "Streletsky" in Sevastopol (TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) was hit.
Earlier, Intent wrote that in the temporarily occupied Crimea , the Russian authorities are massively confiscating land and houses from people who have legally registered their plots.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of air defense facilities of the Russian troops, including radar stations and an anti-aircraft missile system.
On the evening of April 7 and on the night of April 8, a series of explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In particular, an explosion was reported near Simferopol at about 21:50, after which a fighter jet was taken off from the Belbek airfield. Eyewitnesses also reported several waves of UAVs, shooting, and new explosions in different parts of the peninsula. The most resonant was the information about a possible attack on an oil depot in Feodosia. According to sources, at about 01:00, after at least three drones flew overhead, an explosion occurred and a fire broke out on the territory of the Sea Oil Terminal JSC.
