In the temporarily occupied Crimea, guerrillas struck at the logistics of the Russian army.

According to the resistance movement ATESH, a diesel locomotive was disabled at a railway junction near Simferopol.

According to the movement, the locomotive is not subject to quick recovery. The operation was carried out on the eve of March 18, the date that is called the "day of reunification" of Crimea in Russia.

It is through this junction that the key supply of Russian troops in the Zaporizhzhya direction passes. Active hostilities are ongoing there, and the railroad plays a critical role in the delivery of ammunition, spare parts and supplies for the equipment.

At the time of the strike, another batch of military cargo was to pass through this branch. After the destruction of the locomotive, the supply was effectively disrupted, leaving the units without scheduled resupply.

ATES emphasizes that attacks on the rear infrastructure directly affect the capabilities of Russian troops on the front line and complicate the conduct of hostilities.

As Intent previously wrote, agents of the military guerrilla movement recorded preparations to send a military echelon to the front in occupied Dzhankoy. According to the guerrillas, it is intended to support Russian groups.

According to them, the train is filled with fuel, and ammunition is being transported in covered railroad cars. The movement noted that their agent among the railroad workers conducted additional reconnaissance at one of the city's key transportation hubs.

On the night of March 15, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck at air defense facilities of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Two radar stations and a launcher of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system were hit.

In addition, a launcher from the S-400 "Triumph" anti-aircraft missile system was damaged near the village of Dalne in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
