Law enforcers put Russian military on wanted list for shooting a woman in Kherson region

Law enforcers have put Russian soldiers on the wanted list who shot a woman in Kherson region. The police called on witnesses to provide any information.
This was reported by the press service of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kherson region.
Law enforcement officers put on the wanted list the persons involved in the shooting of a 33-year-old resident of Velyka Lepetykha in the Kakhovka region in November 2022. According to law enforcement officials, the woman was killed by Russian military personnel on the grounds of ethnic hatred.

The incident occurred in a private house on Vyzvolennya Street in the village of Velyka Lepetikha, Kakhovka district.
The Department for Investigation of Crimes Committed in the Context of Armed Conflict is collecting all possible evidence and identifying witnesses and eyewitnesses. The information provided will help the police bring the perpetrators to justice. Citizens who have any information or witnesses are asked to immediately contact the investigation department.
The National Police of the Kherson region is also establishing the circumstances of the crime committed by the Russian invaders in the spring of 2022. Investigators of the regional department are currently collecting evidence on this episode.

According to the investigation, on a plot opposite the house on Vyzvolyteliv Street, Russian soldiers shot four men aged 25 to 40 with firearms. To date, only one of the deceased has been identified, while the other three remain unidentified.
Last year, investigators of the Department for Investigation of Crimes Committed in the Context of Armed Conflict established the circumstances of the shooting of civilians in Kherson, which occurred at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
Thus, on March 1, 2022, at about 11:15 a.m., on Beryslavske Highway in Kherson, Russian Federation servicemen opened fire on a blue VAZ 2101 civilian car. The shelling killed two local residents - a 48-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman.
