Two men - a serviceman of the alert group of the territorial center for recruitment and social support and a civilian - were hospitalized on March 30 after a clash between people and the alert group.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Police Department in Odesa region.
According to the police, a man who was trying to be detained by the military stabbed one of them, and a civilian was injured when a group of similar people surrounded the CCC minibus to prevent them from taking the detainee.
One of the soldiers fired a traumatic pistol at the people. The Odesa regional TCC said that around 19:00 on Akademika Zabolotnoho Street in Peresypskyi district of Odesa, a joint alert group found a citizen who was wanted for violating the rules of military registration. He resisted and stabbed a serviceman with a knife, inflicting severe stab wounds to both legs. According to the CCC, the wounded man's condition remains critical.
"The crowd deliberately blocked official vehicles, attacked with stones and prevented the emergency evacuation of the seriously wounded to the hospital. That is why the video footage, taken out of context, demonstrates extreme maneuvering of the vehicle - at that moment, every second was a matter of the soldier's life. In order to repel the attack and protect the life and health of the servicemen, a special means was used in accordance with the procedure established by law," the TCC reported.
On March 28, a group of unidentified men armed with knives and special means attacked the alert group of the territorial center for recruitment and social support and repelled the detained mobilized soldier.
Earlier, the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support launched an internal investigation into a woman's claim that she and her young child had been beaten. The woman in question is a trainer from Odesa, Sona Khilobok, who said that people in military uniforms did not introduce themselves or check their documents, attacked her husband from behind, sprayed him with gas in the eyes and forced him into a bead.
