The morning in Kherson began with another Russian drone attack on a residential building. While the threat of repeated strikes remained over the city, rescuers climbed into the smoky high-rise building and rescued four people, including two children.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson State Emergency Service.
In Kherson, in the morning, a Russian drone hit a multi-storey residential building in one of the city's districts. As a result of the attack, an apartment on the seventh floor caught fire.

After the strike, the building quickly became engulfed in smoke, and the residents were endangered by the fire and possible repeated drone attacks. Despite the difficult situation and the risk of new attacks, rescuers quickly arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire.
While extinguishing the fire, the rescuers evacuated residents from the smoky environment. Four people, including two children, were rescued from the danger zone.
The fire was extinguished before it spread to neighboring apartments. Information on the condition of the victims and the extent of the damage is being clarified.

On May 14, in the Korabelny district of Kherson, Russian military personnel attacked UN humanitarian mission vehicles from a drone. The attack took place despite international norms that prohibit the shelling of humanitarian missions and civilian vehicles used to help the population.
The occupiers also dropped explosives from a drone on a street in Kherson. A 68-year-old local resident was hit. The woman died on the spot from her injuries.

On May 13, Russian occupants attacked public transport in Kherson with a drone. A shuttle bus came under attack. Six passengers were injured, and the bus driver was concussed. Later it became known that two victims were taken to the hospital - a 57-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man. They were diagnosed with contusions, explosive and closed head injuries.
