In Crimea, Ukrainian drones struck high-value enemy targets

Ukrainian drones struck high-value targets belonging to the Russian occupiers in Crimea and on the left bank of the Kherson region. Among them were the "Pantsir-S1" air defense system, the "Sargan" patrol boat, and the "Forpost" station.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
On the night of July 29–30, GUR drones struck:
- the “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft missile and gun system in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region;
- a Project 1100M “Sargan” patrol boat in the city of Kerch, the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;
- a “Forpost” ground-based drone control station in Yevpatoria, the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The estimated cost of the Russian“Pantsir-S1” air defense system is approximately $15 million, while that of the “Sargan” high-speed patrol boat is approximately $6 million.
The “Pantsir-S1”is a Russian short-range anti-aircraft missile and gun system designed to protect military and strategic facilities from aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, drones, and other aerial targets.
The system combines guided anti-aircraft missiles and automatic cannons, allowing it to engage targets at various ranges. It is mounted on a wheeled chassis, which ensures high mobility and the ability to quickly change positions.
"Sargan" is a special high-speed boat originally built at the "More" shipyard in Feodosia, in occupied Crimea, based on a Ukrainian design. The first such boat was built in early 2017.
The boat is designed for patrol duty, special operations, as well as intercepting and detaining violators. According to the manufacturer, it is capable of operating autonomously for up to two days and traveling approximately 413 miles—or about 765 kilometers—without refueling.
