In Crimea, an oil depot, a thermal power plant, and gas stations caught fire following a nighttime attack

On the night of June 20, in occupied Crimea, a series of fires broke out at fuel, energy, and transportation infrastructure facilities following a drone attack. Fires were reported in several areas of the peninsula, including near an oil depot, gas distribution stations, a thermal power plant, and industrial facilities.
According to the Crimean Wind monitoring group, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of June 20, followed by a series of fires at energy and industrial infrastructure facilities.
One of the largest fire sites was the oil and gas storage facility of the “TES” company northwest of Bakhchysarai. This facility had already been attacked in April of this year. The “TES” Group of Companies operates the largest network of gas stations on the peninsula.
There are also reports of a fire at a gas distribution station near the village of Zhuravlivka, north of Gvardeyskoye. Local residents heard Russian air defense systems in operation and drones flying over the area during the night.
Another fire was detected near the Henichesk Bridge on the Arabat Spit. According to the monitoring group, this facility has been targeted multiple times, and the previous strike on it occurred several days ago.
In the Armiansk area, a fire broke out on the railway access road leading to the “Crimean Titan” plant. Around midnight, explosions and gunfire were heard there. Earlier, on June 13, the facility had already been attacked, during which more than two dozen strikes were recorded, along with large-scale fires.
In addition, the Tavriya Thermal Power Plant continues to burn, with satellites detecting at least two fire hotspots. A fire also broke out at a thermal power plant near Strogonivka in the Simferopol district following a drone attack and a series of explosions.
Another gas distribution station caught fire near the village of Lokhivka. According to eyewitnesses, the facility was struck several times; one of the strikes damaged a gas pipeline, and the fire spread to the surrounding area. Satellite images show numerous fires at strategic facilities across the peninsula.
The day before, Special Operations Forces struck a Russian military logistics facility near the administrative border with occupied Crimea. Damage to the railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal could complicate the supply of equipment and ammunition to the occupying forces.
