Drone hits car in Kherson: driver injured, one dead in 24 hours

Over the past day, Kherson region again came under massive attacks by Russian troops - the occupiers used drones, aircraft and artillery to strike at civilian infrastructure and residential areas. A new attack on a civilian car was recorded in the morning.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
Beryslav, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Oleshky, Stanislav, Kozatske, Novovorontsovka, Tyahyntsi, as well as the city of Kherson and other localities in the region were under enemy fire.
The Russian military targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. The shelling damaged a multi-story building and at least 10 private houses, and damaged civilian cars.
One person was killed and six others sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of the Russian aggression.
Separately, a new attack was recorded this morning in Kherson: about an hour ago, the occupiers attacked a car in Dniprovsky district from a drone.
The 59-year-old driver was injured - he suffered a concussion, explosive and closed head injury, a fragmentary forehead wound, as well as numerous abrasions of the hands and feet. The man was hospitalized.
Two people were also evacuated from the frontline communities. Authorities are urging residents to move to safer regions.
At the same time, the head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim said that the defense forces conducted combat operations during the day - details are promised later.
In the Mykolaiv district, the enemy attacked the Ochakiv community four times with FPV drones, without causing any casualties. The air defense forces also destroyed or suppressed five Shahed-131/136 drones and imitators.
On April 19, a Russian drone hit a civilian car in Kherson in the morning in the city's central district, killing the 56-year-old driver.
