Drone flies into a balcony in Odesa, injuring a man

During the Russian attack, an unmanned aerial vehicle hit the balcony of an apartment on the third floor of an apartment building in Odesa.

According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, a 50-year-old man was injured as a result of the strike.

He has a cut wound of the forearm. He received all the necessary medical care. The façade was also damaged, with glass broken and balconies from the second to the fourth floors destroyed. A fire broke out and was extinguished by rescuers.

Emergency and utility services are working at the scene.

On the night of March 31, starting at 18:00 on March 30, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 289 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of attack drones. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense neutralized 267 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones.

There were hits of 20 attack UAVs at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (wreckage) at six locations.

On the night of March 29, the Russian army again struck at civilian and energy infrastructure in Odesa region. One of the drones hit a private residential building, partially destroying the facade. There was also damage to a dacha cooperative. The fires were quickly extinguished by a rescuer from the State Emergency Service. There were no reports of fatalities or injuries. The attack caused power outages in a number of settlements.

In the evening of March 28, it became known that new victims of the Russian strike were reported, which the occupying army launched at night on Odesa and Odesa region. In total, two residents of Odesa were killed and 16 people were injured as a result of the strike. The massive strikes hit civilian and critical infrastructure of the city. The Russians also hit the roof of a four-story maternity hospital building without causing it to catch fire. At the time of the attack, there were 80 people in the facility, including 33 medical workers, all of whom were in hiding.
