Crimean journalist with hearing impairment is tortured with Russian songs in colony

The health condition of illegally imprisoned Crimean journalist Irina Danilovich in the Russian colony #7 in Zelenokumsk is rapidly deteriorating. Due to the administration's neglect of acute otitis media, the woman has completely lost hearing in her left ear and suffers from constant noise, whistling in her ears and debilitating headaches.
This was reported to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center by the woman's relatives.
Instead of providing medical care, which Irina has not received for years, the prisoners resort to psychological torture: they play loud Russian music for hours on end in the premises. For a person with her diagnosis, this causes physical pain, but all the journalist's complaints are ignored. Due to her critical health condition, Iryna is not allowed to work, so she spends her free time reading books, which is her only solace.
Communication with the outside world is strictly limited for the political prisoner. She is only allowed to make short calls to her family lasting up to three minutes, and the colony administration simply does not send her letters of support, especially from abroad. Despite the poor nutrition and poor morale, Iryna tries not to complain during conversations and even sends words of support to other prisoners of the Kremlin.
The situation is complicated by a personal tragedy: in the summer of 2024, her father died before his daughter could return. Now, only her seriously ill mother, who can hardly move, is waiting for Irina's return home. As a reminder, Iryna Danilovych was abducted by Russian security forces in April 2022 in the occupied village of Vladyslavivka. Subsequently, a Russian-controlled court handed down an illegal sentence of 7 years in prison and a fine.
