In occupied Crimea, a commission from Moscow has arrived in Sevastopol due to significant losses of Russian air defense units. It is considering changing the leadership of the 31st Air Defense Division, which is responsible for covering the skies over Sevastopol and Dzhankoy with S-400 Triumph systems.
According to the military guerrilla movement Atesh, the division is partof the 4th Army of the Air Force and the Air Defense of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.
"Significant losses of air defense funds have recently led to a significant weakening of the defense of the Kherson region and Crimea. Moscow apparently recognizes this," the guerrillas said.
Earlier, Atesh guerrillas carried out a sabotage in the occupied part of Kherson region, damaging critical communications equipment of the Russian Armed Forces. This caused disruptions in the control of enemy units in the sector. The guerrillas conducted a sabotage on the Arabat Spit near the village of Strilkove. An agent of the movement damaged the transformer cabinet of the communication tower, which housed electronic warfare antennas. As a result, the equipment stopped working.
The guerrillas also reconnoitered the main repair base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in occupied Sevastopol. The collected information on the activities of the facility and its management was passed on to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. According to the movement, the agents examined the territory of the 13th ship repair plant of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, located in Kilen Bay. The facility is a key element of the fleet's military-industrial infrastructure, as it is where warships, including their electronic weapons, are repaired, modernized and maintained.
