A Russian Wildberries warehouse caught fire in Simferopol following the explosions

On the night of July 24, loud noises were heard in occupied Simferopol. Following the explosions, a warehouse belonging to the Russian e-commerce platform Wildberries caught fire. A local thermal power plant may also have been hit.
Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, wrote on Facebook:
“Today, from Simferopol to St. Petersburg.”
According to the “Crimean Wind” Telegram monitoring channel, explosions began to be heard in the city around 11:55 p.m. Preliminary reports indicate that a local thermal power plant and a Wildberries warehouse may have been targeted.
Wildberries confirmed the evacuation of employees from its sorting center in occupied Simferopol following the nighttime attack.
It is worth noting that the Crimean Gauleiters have not yet commented on the situation.
Wildberries is Russia’s largest online marketplace, often referred to as the Russian equivalent of Amazon. Thousands of small and medium-sized businesses sell their goods through its platform, and the company operates an extensive network of logistics centers throughout Russia.
Previously, losses from attacks on Wildberries facilities were estimated at billions of dollars. Small and medium-sized entrepreneurs who use the marketplace to sell their products suffered the greatest losses.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had previously stated that the targets Ukraine is striking on Russian territory and in the occupied territories are involved in supplying the Russian army with equipment and technical components, although he did not specifically mention Wildberries.
