A man and a woman were injured in a Russian attack on the Epicenter in Mykolaiv

On September 4 and into the night of September 5, Russian forces repeatedly attacked one of Mykolaiv’s shopping centers with drones. The strikes injured two people, damaged store areas, and caused fires.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

According to rescue workers, the shopping areas were significantly damaged by enemy strikes. Fires broke out at the scene.

Two people are known to have been injured—a 72-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl.

According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, the man was hospitalized and will subsequently receive outpatient treatment. The girl was treated on-site and is also receiving outpatient care.

The name of the shopping center has not been officially disclosed; however, judging by photos from the scene, it appears to bethe “Epicenter” shopping center.

Rescue workers operated under extremely difficult conditions.

“Due to the constant threat of repeat attacks, personnel had to be evacuated to a safe distance on multiple occasions. But as soon as the situation allowed, firefighters returned to deal with the aftermath of yet another Russian strike,” the State Emergency Service reported.

In the Kryvoozerska community, a warehouse, specialized equipment, and a cargo truck belonging to a private company were damaged. There were no casualties there.

The Russians attacked the Kutsurub community with a “Lancet” drone. In the village of Dmytrivka, a 57-year-old man was injured—he was hospitalized, and his condition was stable that morning. The roof of his private home was damaged.

On the morning of July 24, Russian forces struck the “Epicenter” hypermarket in the Kotovskyi neighborhood of Odesa. At that time, five people were reported injured as a result of the strikes on the warehouse facilities.
