On the night of July 8, Russian invaders launched an attack on the Mykolaiv region using guided aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, a mother and her daughter were killed, two other people were seriously injured, and dozens of private homes and an educational institution were damaged.
This was reported by Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
According to him, the enemy attacked the area overnight, presumably with guided aerial bombs. As a result of the strike in the Horokhiv community, a family was affected; a mother and daughter—a 38-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl—were killed. A 13-year-old girl was injured and has been hospitalized.
In another settlement in the Horokhiv community, a 39-year-old woman was injured. She was also taken to the hospital. As of this morning, the condition of both victims is assessed as serious but stable.
Due to the Russian attack in the Bashtanka district, 20 private homes, an educational facility, and a power line were damaged—resulting in power outages for residents, the head of the Regional Military Administration added.
In addition, the day before, the Russian army attacked Ochakiv with “Shahed/Gerbera”-type drones. The strike damaged windows in an apartment building and a car. No one was injured.
The enemy also attacked the Kutsurub community with a “Molniya” drone. According to the Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties.
The Mykolaiv region is under daily Russian attack.
