A high-rise building in Odesa was damaged as a result of shelling

Overnight, Russian forces attacked Odesa again. The shelling damaged a high-rise building, private homes, a car, two educational institutions, and infrastructure facilities.

This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa Military Administration.

The extent of the damage is still being assessed. An air raid alert is currently in effect.

Fires broke out at some locations. According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties.

During search-and-rescue operations in the high-rise building damaged by the enemy yesterday morning, rescuers discovered the body of another person. Thus, the death toll from that attack has risen to two.

On September 12, Russian forces struck a high-rise residential building in Odesa. Twenty-six people were injured, including two children. The upper floors of the high-rise residential building were completely destroyed as a result of the strike. The shock wave damaged neighboring residential buildings and a low-pressure gas pipeline.

At another location in the city, three more residential buildings were damaged—one of which was completely destroyed—along with a gas pipeline. 

Also, on September 12, in Chornomorsk, Odesa Oblast, a local hotel that was being used as a rehabilitation center was destroyed as a result of an enemy strike. According to the State Emergency Service, a residential building was destroyed in the city, three others were damaged, and a gas pipeline was damaged, leading to a fire in the building. Five people were injured, including four children.
