High-rise buildings in Odesa were damaged as a result of shelling

Overnight, Russian forces attacked Odesa again. The shelling damaged a high-rise building, private homes, a car, two educational institutions, and infrastructure facilities.

This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa Military Administration.

The extent of the damage is still being assessed. An air raid alert is currently in effect. 

Fires have broken out in some areas. According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties. 

9:06 a.m. It has been reported that a “Shahed” drone struck another high-rise building in Odesa.

10:13. As a result of the morning attack, the upper floors of a high-rise residential building and private homes were damaged. A fire also broke out on the grounds of the Botanical Garden. Warehouses and a children’s sanatorium were damaged. Information regarding casualties is being verified. The enemy’s massive rocket and drone attack continues.

10:18 a.m. Five people are known to have been injured as a result of the massive enemy attack on Odesa.

During search and rescue operations in the high-rise building damaged by the enemy yesterday morning, rescuers discovered the body of one more person. Thus, the death toll from that attack has risen to two.

11:20a.m.As of now, nine people have sought medical attention following the enemy’s attack on the city. The number of casualties may rise.

11:57 a.m.Twenty people have already been injured as a result of the enemy attack on Odesa. Among them are two children: a boy born in 2010 and a girl born in 2017.

On September 12, the Russians struck a high-rise residential building in Odesa. Twenty-six people were injured, including two children. The upper floors of the high-rise residential building were completely destroyed by the strike. The blast wave damaged neighboring residential buildings and a low-pressure gas pipeline.

At another location in the city, three more residential buildings were damaged—one of which was completely destroyed—along with a gas pipeline. 

Also, on September 12, in Chornomorsk, Odesa Oblast, a local hotel that was being used as a rehabilitation center was damaged by an enemy strike. According to the State Emergency Service, a residential building was destroyed in the city, three others were damaged, and a gas pipeline was damaged, leading to a fire in a house. Five people were injured, including four children.
