36 houses damaged, one dead: consequences of massive attacks in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions

Russian troops continue intense attacks in the southern regions of Ukraine, using drones, aircraft, rockets and artillery. Kherson region suffered the most over the past day, but Mykolaiv region also came under attack.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, dozens of settlements in the region were under attack.
Among them are Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Komyshany, Kizomys, Tyahyntsi, Ingulets, Zelenivka and many other communities.
The occupiers used combined tactics:
- drones (probably FPV and kamikaze drones)
- aerial bombardment
- cannon and rocket artillery
These attacks are systematic and target not only military targets, but primarily civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
Destruction and damage
According to the regional authorities, the shelling severely damaged civilian infrastructure:
- A multi-storey residential building was damaged
- at least 36 private houses were destroyed or damaged
- an administrative building was damaged
- outbuildings were damaged
- a warehouse was damaged
- a private car was destroyed or damaged
The strikes often targeted residential areas, which once again confirms the targeting of civilians.
Civilian casualties
Due to the Russian aggression during the day:
- 1 person died
- 8 more people sustained injuries of varying severity
Information on the condition of the victims is being clarified.
Despite the constant shelling, evacuation of the population from the dangerous areas continues in the region. Over the past day, 4 people were evacuated from the de-occupied communities.
The authorities emphasize that the situation remains dangerous, and residents of the frontline areas should not hesitate to leave.
Along with the attacks on Kherson region, Russian troops continued shelling Mykolaiv region.
According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on March 24, Russian forces attacked the Ochakiv community six times with FPV drones.
In addition, in the evening, the community was attacked, preliminarily with multiple launch rocket systems.

At the same time, it is noted that on the night of March 24 and in the morning, the region also suffered rocket and drone attacks.
In Mykolaiv district, at least five attacks by FPV drones on the Ochakiv community were recorded during the day.
As Intent wrote earlier, yesterday eight civilians were injured with varying degrees of severity as a result of shelling. The invaders caused significant destruction to the civilian sector, damaging three multi-story buildings and 26 private estates. In addition to the housing stock, an administrative building, office premises, outbuildings, agricultural machinery, as well as private garages and cars of the region's residents were destroyed.
The day before, Kherson region also came under massive attacks , with Russian troops bombarding residential areas and civilian infrastructure with drones and artillery. Two people were killed and two others were injured over the day.
