A documentary film "Yaryi" was made about Mykolaiv marines, which tells about the heroism of the military in the Kursk sector.
According to the press service of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilinsky, "Yaryi" will show the realities of daily combat.
Under continuous enemy fire, Ukrainian marines fight for every meter of land, evacuate the wounded, destroy enemy positions, and support assault groups. The film shows how difficult combat circumstances change plans, but cannot break the will of our defenders.
According to the description, this film is not just a war diary, but a reminder to the whole world about those who bring victory closer at the cost of superhuman efforts. It is not just footage from the frontline, but a story of courage, endurance and self-sacrifice of Ukrainian soldiers. The premiere is scheduled for February 6, which is the date when six months have passed since the operation in which the soldiers of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade have been participating since the beginning.
Earlier, Mykolaiv marines presented the documentary film "Armor", dedicated to the work of tank units at the forefront. A distinctive feature of the film is its realistic coverage of combat operations: the viewer can follow the whole process - from preparation to combat missions.
Also within the framework of the Documentary Film Lab, the Tochka Skhoda media team created a film about a Mykolaiv infantryman who was captured and died of torture. The film tells the story of Vitaliy Klochenko, a soldier of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynsky, who was taken prisoner by Russia in April 2022.
Last December, the Ukrainian film Peaceful People was included in the British Film Institute's list of the best films of 2024. This film shows the journey of filmmakers from three regions, including Mykolaiv. The film consists of intercepted conversations between the Russian occupiers and their relatives and panoramic shots of Ukrainian towns and villages that have been destroyed by the war.
